In May of 1971, Dan & Steff Leidecker introduced garbage pick-up service to northern Whatcom County. Beginning with just 17 customers, today Nooksack Valley Disposal & Recycling serves over 9,000 county customers including the cities of Lynden, Everson, Nooksack, and Sumas.
